Welcome to Young Pioneer Transnistria, the first and only company to Pioneer adventure travel to the unrecognized country of Transnistria, or as it is officially known the Pridnestrovian Moldavan Republic (PMR).

The PMR is called many things from the last relic of the cold war, the frozen conflict zone, the mafia state, and even Europe’s North Korea! Some of it has basis, but like anywhere else on this lonely planet, you can only truly know by visiting in person.

As a locally (Tiraspol) based company, we know exactly what is going down “on the ground” and from our base at Tiraspol Hostel, the ONLY hostel based in the whole country, we offer unrivaled experience and expertise.
